For principals raising capital
Mandate Consultation.
You walk through what you are raising, the timeline, and the constraints. We tell you where it stands with the allocators deploying into your part of the market today. If we are not the firm to run it, we will say so on the call.
What the thirty minutes cover
A read on the raise. How it lands with allocators, and what is working against it.
Where the capital is. Which allocators are live for a mandate like yours.
A direct answer on fit. Whether we would take it, and what we would change.
30 minutes · video or phone · held in confidence
How this works
Three conversations before anyone signs anything.
You will know where you stand with us inside a week, and you will know it from the people who would actually run your mandate.
Initial Briefing
Thirty minutes with Abbas Chotia. What you're raising, the timeline you're working to, the constraints in front of you, and what has already been tried.

Senior Review
Your situation goes to David Hunter and Anas Ansar. Inside 48 to 72 hours you get a direct answer on whether we would take the mandate, including when the answer is no, and why.

Proposed Approach
All three of us on one call. How the raise would be positioned, which capital we would go to and in what order, and how the engagement is structured. Our team is also willing to fly to your place to discuss the mandate.

After the engagement letter
You are not handed to an analyst.
Anas runs the mandate from signing through close. Nobody joins your deal who was not on the call.
Who you would be working with
Three people. All three on your mandate.
A firm this size can put its most senior people on every deal it takes. That is the whole reason to be this size.

24 years placing institutional capital · University of Chicago
Directed $7B+ in pension assets at HSBC North America and served as Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer of two US public pension systems, growing one from roughly $8B to nearly $20B across 27 portfolios. Led the $40B Texas Municipal Retirement System to back-to-back top-quartile returns, a first in that system's history. Named to ISS's Power 100 Chief Investment Officers.
Your materials get read by someone who spent a career on the allocator's side of the table, before an allocator ever sees them.

Origination · North America, Europe, the Gulf
Comes to private markets from origination, the function most advisory firms outsource and Inaya treats as the core of the practice. Has opened direct conversations inside enterprises including Boeing, Caterpillar, Panasonic, and Revlon, and built the reach that puts a mandate in front of capital referral networks never touch.
Your raise is not limited to who we already know. We build a route to the allocators who fit it.

Principal-level advisory · Founder and operator
Has founded and run businesses of his own, and brings the commercial judgement of someone who has sat in the seat the principals he advises are sitting in. Leads every discovery and qualification conversation with managing directors, partners, and founders.
The first call is with a principal, not an associate reading from a script.

Six fields and a time. Abbas reviews everything you send before the call, so the thirty minutes go on your situation rather than on background.

How engagements are structured
A one-time engagement fee scoped to the mandate, plus a success fee on close. The engagement fee is credited against the success fee. Both figures are confirmed in writing before any work begins.
