Who we advise

Our clients are fund managers, sponsors and founders raising equity capital, and owners weighing a sale. Mandates we take on generally run from US$100 million to several billion.

Why managers engage us

We advise on equity raises from US$100 million to several billion, and each kind of mandate we take has investors behind it who know us.

A relationship for every mandate

We hold at least one standing investor relationship for every kind of mandate we take, from a first institutional fund to a sponsor-led transaction. A raise we accept starts with investors who expect to hear from us.

Read as the allocator reads it

David Hunter, Senior Advisor, spent nearly four decades in institutional capital, including as Chief Investment Officer of two US public pension systems. In senior review he reads each raise as the allocator across the table will read it.

The market the raise enters

In the twelve months to July 2026, 951 private offerings of US$50 million or more were open and 567 of them reported nothing sold. Capital goes to the raises that are prepared and reach the right investors in order.

Our clients

Every client is reviewed before it becomes one.

A train driver at the controls of a train

We advise emerging managers, established managers, companies and sponsors, and real assets sponsors. Each situation is reviewed on its own facts, and our view is given only after senior review.

Equity only

Every mandate we accept is an equity raise or the sale of a business, and our investor coverage is built for equity.

The same people, start to finish

The people you meet in the first conversation and in senior review stay on the mandate through to the close.

When managers come to us

What brings a manager, a sponsor or an owner to us, and what we do in each case.

If you are raising a first institutional fund, come to us.

Allocators are asked to back a team before its record is long. We build the case around who made each result and how the raise reaches its first close.

If a successor fund needs a wider investor base, come to us.

Re-ups and new institutions are prepared in parallel, so the record opens doors and the preparation decides how far the raise goes.

If you need investors who help you scale, not only invest, come to us.

We introduce investors whose mandate includes operating support, co-investment and follow-on capital, and we confirm that fit before either side hears the other’s name.

If you are weighing a sale of the business, come to us.

We confirm what the owner wants before any work on value begins, and we bring the counterparties the sale needs.

If you need Gulf capital, come to us.

We hold relationships with sovereign funds and family offices in the region and prepare managers for how those investors engage.

If the committee meeting is in two weeks, come to us.

We prepare the manager for the questions that decide the meeting, with the track record, terms and data room ready for diligence.
